What we collect, and why

Last updated October 20, 2026

Rootless Turf Cleaning is a turf cleaning business based in Gilbert, AZ. This page says what this website collects when you use it, who handles that information for us, and what you can ask us to do about it. Questions go to hello@rootless.cleaning or (480) 359-6507.

What you give us

  • The quote and contact forms: your name, email, phone number, the address of the turf, how big and how dirty it is, whether you have pets, and any message you write.
  • Booking a clean: the time you pick, and the details above, so we know where to go and what to do. You can move or cancel a booking from the link in your confirmation email.
  • Paying: if you pay online, your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number. If you choose to pay when we arrive, we do not take or keep a card at booking.

How we use it

To give you a price, book and do the job, send you a confirmation, a reminder the day before and a receipt, and answer you when you get in touch. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the services listed below, which help us run the business.

Who handles it for us

  • Google: Calendar (where we keep the schedule, with the job details), Maps and Geocoding (finding your address and showing satellite imagery of your yard), and Analytics (see below).
  • Address lookup: when Google cannot match an address, we may use the US Census Bureau geocoder or an address search service built on OpenStreetMap data (Photon).
  • Stripe: online payments, invoices and receipts.
  • Resend: delivers the emails we send you and the quote requests we receive.
  • Neon: the database where we may keep a record of your jobs, so we can answer questions about a past clean.
  • Vercel: hosts this website.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

On the live website only, we use three tools to learn how people use it and whether our ads work. We do not use them on our private business dashboard or on your booking page.

  • Google Analytics: counts visits and the steps people take through the quote form. When you send a request, we tell it the city, a size range, and whether it was a quote or a contact form. Never your name, email, phone number or street address. It uses cookies.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram): lets us see whether people who clicked our ads went on to ask for a quote. It records page views and that a request was sent, not what you typed.
  • Microsoft Clarity: records how visitors click and scroll so we can fix confusing pages, as anonymous replays and heatmaps. The quote and contact forms are masked, so what you type in them is not recorded.

We also save the page or ad that first brought you here in your browser, so we know which one led to a quote request, and a small cookie lets you manage a booking from your confirmation link. Your browser settings, an ad blocker, or Google's and Meta's own opt-out settings will stop the analytics and advertising tools. The site still works without them.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@rootless.cleaning. We may need to keep some payment and job records for tax and accounting reasons.

How long we keep it

We keep job and customer records for as long as we need them to run the business, answer questions about a past job, and meet tax and accounting rules. The analytics and advertising tools above keep data on their own schedules.

Security and children

The site uses HTTPS, our dashboard is protected by a passcode, and card payments are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care with what we hold. Our service is for property owners, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
